An Act designating a certain bridge in the city of Boston as the Navy Cross Recipient PFC Alvin Richard Gale, USMC Memorial Bridge.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Chapter 135 of the acts of 2015 is hereby amended by striking out the first sentence and inserting in place thereof the following sentence:-
Bridge number B-16-108 on West street spanning the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority and AMTRAK railroad tracks in the Hyde Park section of the city of Boston shall be designated and known as the Navy Cross Recipient PFC Alvin Richard Gale, USMC Memorial Bridge, in memory of Alvin Richard Gale, in recognition of his service to his country and his ultimate sacrifice in the Vietnam War for which he was posthumously awarded the Navy Cross.
