An Act concerning a certain parcel of land in the City of Boston.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary and in accordance with Article 97 of the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts the Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall enter into a 99 year lease of certain property in the City of Boston on the corner of Hanover and Cross Street that is 2900-square feet, otherwise known as Parcel 11A, with 40 Union LLC. for the purpose of development, provided that the 40 Union LLC and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation agree on terms for a lease of the property.

SECTION 2.    This act shall take effect six months after passage with the option of a one month extension that both 40 Union LLC and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation agree to.
