Rush (by vote of the town) that the town of Westwood be authorized to grant a special license for the sale of all alcoholic beverages at an agricultural event.  Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure.  [Local Approval Received.]

An Act authorizing the town of Westwood to grant a special license for the sale of alcoholic beverages for off-premise consumption at an indoor or outdoor agricultural event.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the licensing authority of the town of Westwood may issue a special license pursuant to section 15F of chapter 138 of the General Laws to an applicant authorized to operate a farmer-winery pursuant to section 19B of said chapter 138 or an applicant authorized to operate a farmer-distillery pursuant to section 19E of said chapter 138. The special license shall authorize the holder to sell those products produced by or for the licensee in sealed containers for off-premise consumption at an indoor or outdoor agricultural event as provided in said section 15F of said chapter 138.

SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
