An Act authorizing the town of Weston to transfer certain parcels of recreation land from the recreation commission to the conservation commission.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary, the town of Weston is hereby authorized to transfer and convey two parcels of land from the recreation commission, held for recreation purposes, to the conservation commission, to be held and dedicated for conservation purposes, said parcels located off Highland Street, being a parcel identified as Lot C, containing  0.30 acres, more or less (assessor’s map 37, lot 10_20) and a parcel identified as Lot D, containing 4.70 acres, more or less (assessor’s map 37, lot 10_30) on a plan dated November 19, 1969, recorded with the registry of deeds as plan 293 of 1970, both said parcels described in a deed dated April 8, 1970, recorded with the registry of deeds in book 11818, page 489.

SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect upon passage.
