An Act requiring hand sanitizer dispensers in schools.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 70B of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting the following definition:

"Hand sanitizer dispenser", a wall-mounted receptacle that dispenses liquid chemical germicide used for the purpose of cleaning hands and reducing the spread of germs.

Section 2. Section 3 of chapter 70B of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after section 3(k), the following section:-

Section (k1/2). require that hand sanitizer dispensers be prominently mounted and displayed in classrooms and near major entranceways of all public school facilities for the purpose of reducing illness.
