An Act to amend the toxics use reduction act.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 1. Paragraph (C) of Section 19 of Chapter 21 I of the general Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence to the end:
Companies using a toxic or hazardous substance as a requirement of a state, federal or local environmental or other permit or for purposes of repackaging such toxic or hazardous chemical for ultimate sale shall be exempt from paying a fee for that substance.
