An Act regarding underground storage tank remediation.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 1. Notwithstanding any provision of the General or Special Laws, citizens of the Commonwealth subject to damage caused by the release of petroleum from an underground storage tank shall be eligible to recover funds remediating personal expenses, loss of property value, and pain and suffering. Said funds shall be paid from the fund enumerated in Mass General Laws Chapter 21J.
