An Act relative to insurance vehicle surcharges.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 113B of chapter 175 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:- Any person the commissioner deems to be an involved operator, either because the person is determined to have been operating a motor vehicle at the time of an accident or because the person has a traffic law violation, and who has 2 or more motor vehicles registered in his or her name, shall only be subject to an operator surcharge on the motor vehicle involved in the accident or traffic law violation and shall not be subject to the same surcharge on any other vehicle.
