An Act to revise auto insurance claim payments.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Section 34A of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking the sixth paragraph (lines 122 to 190), the seventh paragraph  (lines 191 to 206), and the ninth paragraph (lines 210 to 243).

SECTION 2.  Chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking section 34M and section 34N in their entirety.

SECTION 3.  Section 113C of chapter 175 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking the clause “of medical coverage, so-called, to a limit of at least five thousand dollars,” from the second paragraph (lines 17 to 18).

SECTION 4.  Section 113H of chapter 175 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking subparagraphs 2 and 3 of the third paragraph of subsection A (lines 33 to 36), and renumbering the remaining subparagraphs.

SECTION 5.  Chapter 231 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking section 6D in its entirety.
