An Act to promote renewable energy in the town of Sandwich.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Chapter 8 of the Acts of 2011 is hereby amended as follows:
SECTION 1. a) Insert the following after "and a golf course":- "and for alternative energy purposes". Insert the following after "lease such recreational fields and facilities for recreational purposes":- "and for alternative energy purposes." Insert the following after "The lease may be a ground lease of the land only":- "or a facility lease, such as an existing rooftop for a photovoltaic project,".
SECTION 1. c) Insert the following after "an active recreational facility":- "or alternative energy project".
SECTION 1. d) Insert the following after "the active recreational facility":- "or alternative energy project". Insert the following after "finance, design and construct the active recreational facility":- "or alternative energy project".
