An Act relative to restoring lottery funding to its intended purpose.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 35 of chapter 10 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 1998 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out subsection (c) and inserting in place thereof the following subsection:—(c) the balance of said fund, as determined by the comptroller on September thirtieth, December thirty-first, March thirty-first and June thirtieth of each fiscal year, shall be distributed to cities and towns in direct proportion to the total revenue accruing from the sale of lottery tickets or shares in such cities and towns.
