An Act relative to license to carry fees for active duty law enforcement officers.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Section 131 of chapter 140 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 436, the following words:- active and.

SECTION 2.  Paragraph (i) of said section 131 of said chapter 140, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting after the ninth sentence the following sentence:- For active duty law enforcement officers, or local, state, or federal government entities acting on their behalf, there shall be no fee for the application.
