An Act relative to Dominoes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 2 of the General Laws is hereby amended by adding the following section:-
Section 62. Dominoes shall be the official game of the commonwealth and shall be used to promote social recreation and mental skill.
SECTION 2. Chapter 6 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 15ZZZZZ the following section:
Section 15AAAAAA. The governor shall annually issue a proclamation setting apart the third week in June of each year as Dominoes Week, to recognize the game of dominoes as a sport and to encourage the citizens of the commonwealth to celebrate this convivial game of mental skill, and recommending that the week be observed in an appropriate manner by the people.
