An Act promoting job training in the Commonwealth.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Section 14L of chapter 151A of the General Laws, as so appearing, as amended by section 77 of chapter 144 of the acts of 2014, is hereby amended by striking in the first sentence of subsection (a) the figure “.056” and inserting in place thereof “.112”

SECTION 2. Section 14L of chapter 151A of the General Laws, as so appearing, as amended by section 77 of chapter 144 of the acts of 2014, is hereby amended by striking in the second sentence of subsection (a) the figure “$22,000,000 and inserting in place thereof  “$44,000,000”.

SECTION 3. Section 14L of chapter 151A of the General Laws, as so appearing, as amended by section 77 of chapter 144 of the acts of 2014, is hereby amended in subsection (a) by adding in the third sentence after the word “deposit” the words “50 percent of”.

SECTION 4. Section 14L of chapter 151A of the General Laws, as so appearing, as amended by section 77 of chapter 144 of the acts of 2014, is hereby amended in subsection (a) by adding to the end of the third sentence the following:

“, and shall deposit 50 per cent of the proceeds of said workforce training contributions in the Workforce Competitiveness Trust Fund, established by Section 2WWW of chapter 29 of the General Laws.”
