An Act regulating synthetic heroin.

 

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to provide forthwith that all forms of the controlled substance acetyl fentanyl are classified as a Class B substance, therefore, it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public safety.
 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Subsection (b) of Class B of section 31 of chapter 94C, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the first clause and inserting in place thereof the following 2 clauses:- 

(1)      Acetyl fentanyl

(1½)   Alphaprodine
