An Act allowing the city of Everett to increase the fee for second class motor dealers licenses.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section 59 of chapter 140 of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, the city of Everett is hereby authorized to charge a fee of no greater than $500 for a second class motor dealers license and to set a limit on the number of licenses to one per two thousand population as determined by the most recent federal census.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
