An Act to enforce snow removal requirements.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 5 of Chapter 40U, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the words “and shall” in line 5 the following:-

“, at a minimum, require removal of snow and ice sufficient to allow reasonable pedestrian access throughout the entire length of a sidewalk and sufficient to allow a pedestrian to enter, from the appropriate point on the sidewalk, the corresponding road crosswalk, if any, and further shall”
