An Act relative to prescription monitoring of certain commonly abused drugs.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Within 90 days of the effective date of this act the department of public health shall promulgate regulations to classify the drugs commercially referred to as gabapentin, neurontin, and other chemical equivalents, as “additional drugs” for the purposes of section 24A of chapter 94C.
