An Act relative to end of life choices of inmates.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 127 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 117A the following new section:-
Section 117B. Except where otherwise prohibited by law, an inmate’s personal choices about end of life care, as evidenced through a do-not-resuscitate order or advanced directives, shall be followed corrections and medical personnel.
