An Act relative to retirement buy back into the Massachusetts teachers’ retirement system.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary, the Massachusetts Teachers’ Retirement Board is hereby authorized and directed to credit Robin Goldberg of Southborough with creditable service for the period from 1997 to 2004, inclusive, during which she served as full-time faculty instructor at Worcester State University for the purpose of determining her retirement allowance.
SECTION 2. Eligibility for this creditable service shall be based upon a buy back from the Optional Retirement Program, in which Robin Goldberg was enrolled during her employment at Worcester State University and at which time she had been vested in the Massachusetts State Retirement System.
