An Act to reform and modernize legislative transportation reimbursement.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 9B of chapter 3 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the fourth paragraph the following paragraph:-
The provisions of paragraphs two, three and four shall not apply to members elected for the first time at the November general election preceding January 1, 2017.
SECTION 2. Section 9C of chapter 3 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting at the end thereof the following: -
The provisions of this section shall not apply to members elected for the first time at the November general election preceding January 1, 2017
