An Act relative to jewelry sold by hawkers and peddlers.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 16 of Chapter 101 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 1, the word “jewelry”, and further in lines 2 to 4, the words “This prohibition shall not apply to costume jewelry, so called, with a dollar value of not more than ten dollars per piece made by a nonprofit or charitable organization”.
