An Act relative to corrections officers injured in the line of duty.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. (a) Section 111F of Chapter 41 of the Massachusetts General Laws is hereby amended by adding the following in the first sentence in line 2 after the word district: “or a correction officer employed by a county or the state”

(b) and by adding the following in line 22 after the word officer: “or a state or county corrections officer”

(c)  and by adding the following in line 26 after the word city: “state, county,”

(d) and by adding the following in line 29 after the word city: “state, county,”

(e) and by adding the following in line 36 after the word town: “state, county,”

(f) and by adding the following in line 39 after the word city: “state, county,”

(g) and by adding the following in line 41 after the word officer: “or a state or county corrections officer”

(h) and by adding the following in line 44 after the word town: “state, county,”
