An Act prohibiting the sale of lottery tickets on credit.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 29 of chapter 10 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after line 8 the following new paragraph:-
No licensed agent may sell a ticket or share if the only consideration given is a promise, in fact or in law, to make payment at a future time, or is payment by credit card.
