SECTION 1. The parcels of land of the commonwealth described in section 2 in the town of Adams are hereby designated for and shall be held under the protection of Article XCVII of the amendments to the constitution solely for the purposes and uses of open space protection, management and conservation, environmental education, environmental research and public access for recreation and enjoyment. Rules and regulations relating to state park lands of the department of conservation and recreation shall apply to the land identified in section 2.
SECTION 2. The land is identified on a 2-page plan dated December 8, 2014 on file with the division of capital asset management and maintenance and the department of conservation and recreation entitled “Transfer of Care & Control of the Remaining Land of Greylock Glen for Article 97 of the Massachusetts Constitution Purposes prepared for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management & Maintenance & Dept. of Conservation & Recreation” and consists of approximately 1,008+/- acres.
