An Act proclaiming May as Aviation Awareness Month.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Chapter 6 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after Section 15KKKKK, the following section:

Section 14LLLLL.  The governor shall annually issue a proclamation setting apart the month of May as Aviation Awareness Month, to increase public awareness of the economic, transportation, medical, public safety and recreational benefits of general aviation to the citizens of the Commonwealth, and shall recommend that the day be observed in an appropriate manner by the people.
