An Act providing the commonwealth with greater flexibility in public contracting.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 54 of chapter 7 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 14, the word “five” and inserting in place thereof the figure:- 25.

SECTION 2. Subsection (4) of section 54 of chapter 7 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out the first sentence and inserting in place thereof the following sentence:- The agency shall prepare a comprehensive written estimate of the actual costs of regular agency employees providing the subject services.
