An Act  An Act relative to the prohibition of the use of state funds.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Section 29J of said chapter 29, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:-  As used in this section, “state agency” includes an institution of public higher education or an association of the trustees of such institutions, and “state funds” includes all funds that state agencies and authorities are authorized to receive and expend by virtue of the powers granted to them under their enabling statutes, including trust funds under the control of such institutions.”
