An Act to promote contract efficiency.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the provisions of section 1 of chapter 5, section 7A of chapter 71, section 24B of chapter 121B, and sections 26-27 of chapter 149 of the General Laws shall not apply to any contract or transaction with an amount of less than $500,000.
