An Act relative to traffic safety.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Paragraph 1 of section 18A of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking the words:- “one dollar for the first, second or third such offense committed by such person within the jurisdiction of the district court in the particular calendar year, and by a fine of two dollars for the fourth or subsequent such offense so committed in such calendar year” beginning on line 19, and inserting in place thereof:- “twenty-five dollars for the first offense, fifty dollars for the second offense, and seventy-five dollars for the third and subsequent offenses committed by such person within the jurisdiction of the district court in the particular calendar year.”
