An Act relative to license renewal fees for Massachusetts veterans.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 33 of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting in line 146, at the end of clause 21 the following sentence:-

No fee shall be collected for a license or renewal thereof if the applicant is a veteran of the armed forces as defined by clause 43 of section 7 of chapter 4. The registrar shall annually report to the secretary of veterans services the number of individuals qualifying under this section.
