An Act updating veterans’ burial expenses.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 8 of chapter 115 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 2, the figures “$2,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figures:- $4,000
SECTION 2. Said section 8 is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 4, the figures “$3,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figures:- $5,000
SECTION 3. Said section 8 is hereby further amended by striking out the third sentence.
