An Act relative to postpartum depression screening.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Chapter 118E of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after Section 10G the following: -

Section 10H. The division shall provide coverage of screenings by pediatricians for postpartum depression in mothers of newly born children during any visit to a pediatrician’s office taking place for up to one year from the date of the child’s birth.
