An Act designating a certain intersection in the town of Plainville as the Special Police Officer Michael O. Maher Memorial Intersection.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. The intersection of the Plainridge Park Casino access road and state highway Route 1 in the town of Plainville shall be designated and known as the Special Police Officer Michael O. Maher Memorial Intersection, in memory of Plainville Special Police Officer Michael O. Maher, who was killed in the line of duty. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain a suitable marker bearing the designation in compliance with the standards of the department.
