An Act relative to partition fences.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 3 of chapter 49 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, at the end thereof, the following new paragraph:-

“An occupant who keeps livestock or poultry within such an enclosure shall be responsible for the full cost of maintenance of partition fences if the adjoining occupant does not keep livestock or poultry, unless both occupants otherwise agree”.
