An Act authorizing the town of Warren to continue the employment of Dennis Desrosiers.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, Dennis Desrosiers, a member of the fire department of the town of Warren, may continue to serve in such position until August 26, 2019, until the date of his retirement, or until the date he is relieved of his duties by the fire chief, whichever occurs first; provided, however, that he is mentally and physically capable of performing the duties of his office. The town may, at its own expense, require that Dennis Desrosiers be examined by an impartial physician designated by the town to determine such capability.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
