An Act further regulating family child care homes.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 9 of chapter 15D of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out subsection (b) and inserting in place thereof the following subsection:-

(b) The department shall make quarterly unannounced monitoring inspections of all family child care homes and all large family child care homes.  If the department finds that any such home is not in compliance with law and with the rules and regulations established by the board, the license of the family child care home or large family child care home shall be subject to suspension, revocation, probation or other sanctions under section 10.
