An Act authorizing the city manager of the city of Worcester to appoint the chair of the Worcester redevelopment authority.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in General Laws Chapter 121B, section seven, in the city of Worcester the city manager shall annually appoint the chair of the Worcester Redevelopment Authority and such appointments shall be subject to confirmation by majority vote of the Worcester City Council.
