An Act relative to providing for the specific needs of students achieving.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 1 of Chapter 69 of the General laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the Phrase “including a limited English proficient student as defined in section 1 of chapter 71A” the following words:-
“including a student achieving or capable of achieving beyond the traditional age-based grade, including a gifted and talented student as defined by the United States No Child Left Behind Act, P.L. 107-110 (Title IX, Part A, Definition 22) (2002); 20 USC 7801(22) (2004)),”
