An Act regarding home care services.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 4A of Chapter 19A of the General Laws as appearing in the 2012 edition is hereby amended by striking out the following words: “The department shall establish a sliding fee scale to provide home care services for certain persons whose income exceeds the limits established under Title XX of the Social Security Act,” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- The department shall establish income eligibility to provide home care services for certain persons whose income does not exceed three hundred percent of the federal poverty level, and a sliding fee scale for certain persons receiving home care services whose income exceeds the limits established pursuant to the provisions of section 9 of chapter one hundred and eighteen E.
