An Act to provide additional funding for animal welfare and safety programming.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 37 of chapter 129 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting the following words in line 9 after the figure “$10,000”.:-
Such fines shall not revert to the General Fund and shall instead be deposited in the Homeless Animal Prevention and Care Fund, as established by Section 35ww of chapter 10 of General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition; and shall be available for use in subsequent fiscal years.
