An Act relative to the governance of the Health Policy Commission.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION1. Section 2(b) of chapter 6D of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out in line 9, the number “11” and inserting in place thereof the number “12”.

SECTION 2.  Section 2(b) of chapter 6D of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out in line 11, the number “3” and inserting in place thereof the number “4” and by inserting after the sentence in lines 31 and 32 the following new sentence:-  “The fourth person appointed by the governor shall be a registered nurse licensed to practice in Massachusetts who practices in a patient care setting and shall be initially appointed for a term of 5 years.”
