An Act relative to tiered networks.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 11 of Chapter 176J, as amended by Section 177 of chapter 224 of the acts of 2012, is hereby further amended by inserting after the second paragraph the following:-
Carriers shall tier non-profit hospitals based exclusively on adjusted total medical expenses if said provider is the sole acute hospital in a 20-mile radius.
