An Act relative to mental health certified peer specialists.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Chapter 118E of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 10B the following section:-

Section 10B ½. The division shall, to the extent permitted by Title XIX or other federal authority, provide medical assistance to cover mental health certified peers specialists services, provided that said certified peer specialist has completed training as certified by the department of mental health.
