An Act relative to housing and redevelopment authority vacancies.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
The fourth paragraph of section 5 of chapter 121B, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:- If the department does not fill a vacancy within 120 days from the date that a vacancy is created, the board of selectmen shall in writing appoint a person by a majority vote to fill such vacancy for the unexpired portion of the term.
