An Act relative to disposition of court records.
Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to provide forthwith for the disposition of court records, therefore, it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 27A of chapter 221, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out clause (1).
SECTION 2. Said section 27A of chapter 221, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 14, the figure “(2)” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- (1)
SECTION 3. Said section 27A of chapter 221, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 16, the figure “(3)” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- (2)
SECTION 4. Said section 27A of chapter 221, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 31-32, the words “and in the case of a district court, without an order of the standing justice of such district court.”
