An Act regarding the definition of a default warrant.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 23A of chapter 276 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:-
A warrant that is issued because a person has forfeited or made default upon his or her bail bond or recognizance or has been surrendered by a probation officer may be designated as a default warrant.
