An Act relative to naming the Plymouth Trial Court in honor of Senate President Therese Murray.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

The Plymouth Trial Court on Obery Street in the in the Town of Plymouth shall be designated and known as the Therese Murray Trial Court. Senate President Murray was the first female Senate President of the Massachusetts Senate. She was a tireless advocate for her communities and worked diligently to ensure that the Plymouth County Judicial Center stayed in the shire town of Plymouth County. The division of capital asset management and maintenance shall erect suitable markers bearing the designation in compliance with the standards of the division.
