An Act relative to heroin trafficking.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 32E of chapter 94C of the General Laws, as amended by chapter 192 of the acts of 2012, is hereby amended by striking out, in subsection (c), in each instance, the figure “18” and inserting in place thereof the following figure: “6”.

And further by inserting after subsection (c), the following paragraph:-

(1) Six grams or more but less than 18 grams, be punished by a term of imprisonment in the state prison for not less than 2 nor more than 15 years and a fine of not less than $2,500 nor more than $25,000 may be imposed.
