An Act updating the definition of felony larceny.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. The first paragraph of section 30 of chapter 266 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is amended by striking out, in line 8, the words “two hundred and fifty dollars” and inserting in place thereof the following words:-

one thousand three hundred dollars.

SECTION 2. Said first paragraph of section 30 of said chapter 266, as so appearing, is further amended by striking out, in lines 12-13, the words “two hundred and fifty dollars” and inserting in place thereof the following words:-

one thousand three hundred dollars.   

SECTION 3. The fifth paragraph of said section 30 of said chapter 266, as so appearing, is amended by striking out, in line 73, the words “two hundred and fifty dollars” and inserting in place thereof the following words:-

one thousand three hundred dollars.                                  

SECTION 4. Said fifth paragraph of said section 30 of said chapter 266, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 77, the words “two hundred and fifty dollars” and inserting in place thereof the following words:-

one thousand three hundred dollars.

SECTION 5. Section 37C of said chapter 266, as so appearing, is amended by striking out, in line 11, the words “two hundred fifty dollars” and inserting in place thereof the following words:-

one thousand three hundred dollars.

SECTION 6. Said Section 37C of said chapter 266, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 16, the words “two hundred fifty dollars” and inserting in place thereof the following words:-

one thousand three hundred dollars.

SECTION 7. Section 37C of said chapter 266, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 22, the words “two hundred fifty dollars” and inserting in place thereof the following words:-

one thousand three hundred dollars.

SECTION 8.  Said section 37C of said chapter 266, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in lines 29-30, the words “two hundred fifty dollars” and inserting in place thereof the following words:-

one thousand three hundred dollars.

SECTION 9. Section 60 of said chapter 266, as so appearing, is amended by striking out, in lines 6-7, the words “two hundred and fifty dollars” and inserting in place thereof the following words:-

one thousand three hundred dollars.

SECTION 10. Said section 60 of said chapter 266, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in lines 10-11, the words “two hundred and fifty dollars” and inserting in place thereof the following words:-

one thousand three hundred dollars.

SECTION 11. Section 127 of said chapter 266, as so appearing, is amended by striking out, in lines 12-13, the words “two hundred and fifty dollars” and inserting in place thereof the following words:-

one thousand three hundred dollars.
